The 129th session of the China Import and Export Fair, also known as the Canton Fair, will be held online between April 15 and 24, according to the organizer.
Known as a barometer of China's foreign trade and held twice a year in Guangzhou, the 10-day trade event will feature some 50 virtual exhibition zones with 16 major categories of products. Livestreaming services will be provided as in the past two sessions of Canton Fair, through which exhibitors can display their products via pictures and videos and interact with buyers from across the world. Enterprises attending the fair and cross-border e-commerce platforms will get fee exemptions from taking part in the fair-related activities, according to officials with Canton Fair, as a way to help entities tide over difficulties caused by the pandemic.
