The China International Import Expo (CIIE), with the theme “New Era, Shared Future,” is the world’s first national-level expo dedicated specifically to import, transforming China’s vast market into a global platform for shared opportunities. The CIIE comprises the Country Pavilion, the Corporate Pavilion, the Hongqiao International Economic Forum, a number of side events, supporting activities and people-to-people exchanges.

In May 2017, Chinese President Xi Jinping announced that China would host the CIIE since 2018. Since then, this grand event has been held annually in Shanghai, China, every November. The eighth edition will be held in 2025.

The Country Pavilion is a vital component of the CIIE. Participating countries and international organizations showcase their overall image, areas of strength, quality resources in diverse and engaging ways, and hold unique booth activities to strengthen exchanges and cooperation in trade and economic fields.
